Life in the backyard is full of fun and adventure for the five Beat Bugs. On one particular day, they discover a beautiful section of the yard, lush with strawberry plants. Before long, the friends learn that the town stinkbug plans to destroy the strawberry fields and use the site to build his new pollution plant--all in an effort to exact revenge on the insects who teased him as a child. Unsure of how to save their favorite new hangout, the bugs take a lesson from a traveling street performer, who convinces them that the best way to draw attention to their cause is to produce a show! Harnessing the spirit and the power of the 1960s, the Beat Bugs band together to stop this environmental catastrophe and learn that to accomplish great things, all you need is love and a little help from your friends.
Based on the Netflix animated series and inspired by the music made famous by The Beatles, Beat Bugs: A Musical Adventure features such classic hits as “All You Need Is Love,” “Come Together,” “We Can Work It Out,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “In My Life,” “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “Magical Mystery Tour,” and more!
