BROADWAY KIDZ CREW is a one-of-a-kind show starring kids from hit Broadway musicals - School of Rock, On Your Feet!, Evita, Forbidden Broadway - singing, dancing, and playing along to your favorite Broadway showtunes from Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Wicked, Frozen, Dear Evan Hansen and more! Created by a Broadway caliber production team, BROADWAY KIDZ CREW is sure to inspire you and the next generation of Broadway theatergoers

PRODUCER | CREATIVE TEAM

JoAnn Hunter (Director). JoAnn M Hunter began her career as a successful Broadway dancer with over 12 Broadway shows to her credit. She has had the privilege of working with some of the most creative directors and choreographers. With the knowledge she gained from these enormous talents she has honed her own craft and voice as a choreographer. She began her choreographic career as an Associate on shows such as All Shook Up, The Wedding Singer, Curtains, and Spring Awakening. Her own credits include Harmony- Ahmanson/Alliance, The Nutty Professor-TPAC, On A Clear Day- Broadway, She Loves Me- Roundabout, Dedalus Lounge- Royal Family Prod, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang- US Nat’l tour, The 12- NY workshop, Oliver- PMP, Curtains-PMP, Drama League Galas honoring Angela Lansbury, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Debra Monks’ Birthday Bash for BC/EFA. She is developing a ballet with words about the loss of physical identity through movement.
Sonny Paladino (Music Director, Arranger). Sonny most recently served as Music Director, arranger and orchestrator for the Broadway musical Gettin’ the Band Back Together and the off-Broadway revival of Smokey Joe’s Café.  Other recent credits: Music Supervisor for the Broadway Musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, Associate Conductor for The Last Ship (written by 16 time Grammy Award winner Sting), and the TONY winning best revival Pippin.  Other Broadway credits as a musician, Jesus Christ Superstar, Billy Elliot, Grease, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Guys and Dolls, Mama Mia, Promises, Promises, Addams Family, Women on the Verge. Music Supervisor for Disney’s High School Musical (Milan/Italy tour.) 1st National Tours: Disney’s High School Musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Grease. Arrangements and orchestrations for The Indianapolis, Baltimore, Vancouver, Detroit and Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra’s. As a composer: The Return of the Blue Cat (with poet F.D. Reeve.)  TV: The X-Factor (Australia), The Next Big Thing. Sonny is also a founding member and arranger of the hit group The Doo Wop Project, which tours the country performing classic Doo Wop music and contemporary songs in that style. Currently Sonny is creating a show alongside Gyspy Snider with her artist collective, The 7 Fingers based out of Montreal, CA. Sonny holds a B.F.A. in Jazz Piano from CUNY City College.
Ken Davenport (Producer). Once On This Island (Tony Award), Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, Kinky Boots (Tony Award), It’s Only a Play, The Visit, Mothers and Sons, The Bridges of Madison County, Macbeth, Godspell, Chinglish, Oleanna, Blithe Spirit, You’re Welcome America, Speed-the-Plow, 13. Off-Broadway: Daddy Long Legs, Altar Boyz, The Awesome 80s Prom, My First Time. Ken was featured on a national commercial for Apple’s iPhone, he was chosen as one of Crain’s “40 Under Forty”. He writes the popular blog TheProducersPerspective.com, is the creator of the board game “Be a Broadway Star” and a co-founder of TEDxBroadway. - Broadway Parenting 101: Learn practical tips and tricks from a real Broadway parent to best position your kid to break into the biz.
- Auditions for Broadway Kidz Crew: The Broadway Kidz Crew creative team will host auditions in each city we visit, giving your local youngsters a chance to go through a friendly professional audition process, and give them a shot about becoming the next Broadway Kidz Crew kid.
